Newhaven Funerals started back in 1979 after the Connolly family tragically lost a child. Phil Connolly watched in dismay at the “mechanical” and “routine” funeral service conducted—as well as the unexplained expenses affixed to the account at the end of the service. Knowing there had to be a better, more compassionate way of providing services at more affordable costs, he and his family started their own funeral home.
