A virtual funeral is a live-streamed funeral service. It’s for when circumstances may not allow family members and the public to attend a funeral service in person.
Your loved one will be prepared and placed in a coffin centre stage at our chapel.
A funeral director and celebrant or religious minister will conduct the funeral as if the room were full of family and friends.
The service will be live streamed to those invited by family members. (We have been live streaming for over a decade, so it’s not new technology to us). The only difference with this service is no one attends the ceremony.
The family will be encouraged to provide pictures and words to personalise the service. Our funeral director will phone a key member of the family during the service and share the call with virtual guests.
An online tribute page is prepared which allows virtual guests to share their thoughts and condolences
