Wesley Kids is a child and family mental health service, where children and their families can access support and understanding in a safe and friendly environment.
Wesley Kids supports children and families dealing with grief, loss, or illness by providing support groups, counselling and educational programs that focus on learning from the painful experience so that those involved gain life skills and new confidence to meet future challenges.
We support children up to 12 years of age and their families living in the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas.

There are many ways to support someone who is grieving. You can offer your condolences, listen to them talk about their loved one, help with practical tasks, or just be there for them.
There is no one, “right” way to grieve. You may find it helpful to talk to a counsellor or therapist, join a support group, or talk to friends and family.
Support services can provide you with information and resources to help you understand and cope with your grief. They can also offer emotional support and practical assistance.
