Meet the Team – Carlo DiMartino

Carlo DiMartino has been a valuable member of the Newhaven team for over 3 years now.

Originally from Tasmania, with Italian family heritage, Carlo and his family came to the Gold Coast for that sea change that so many others from across the country look for and find right here.

Carlo has always worked in people focused roles since he left school and his greatest motivator has always been to be of service to others and give back to the community.

This included being a volunteer fire fighter back in Tasmania. Working with families to assist them with bushfire safety plans.

When Carlo meets a family who have entrusted Newhaven Funerals with the care of their loved one, his main focus is to connect with them to ensure he is offering as personalised a service as possible.

Beyond the funeral service, Carlo has maintained communication with several of the families he has served, making sure to check in with them days, weeks, months and even years after the service.

Newhaven Funerals are grateful to have Carlo assisting and attentively caring for the every need of the families in our care at a difficult time in their lives.
